Transition Years begin a week of work experience.
The Concern debating team meet Presentation Secondary School, Kilkenny in the third round of the Concern Worldwide Debating Competition. The debate will take place in the Library of St. Brigid's College atThe Callan team is proposing the motion that "Multinationals are cleaning up their act." The students are Katie Coughlan (Capt.), Aisling Kenny, Nichola Carroll and Caoimhe Murphy. (5th yr.)
The 6th year L.C.V.P. and Art students and 5th year Art students will visit McCaffrey's Chocolate Warehouse, the National museum, National Gallery, The Douglas Hyde Gallery and Temple Bar Studios. L.C.V.P.
students are required to visit a successful business like McCaffrey's to investigate how a successful business enterprise is run.
The National Mental Health Public Speaking Competition will take place in the Springhill hotel atThree of our 5th year students will take part: Megan Lacey, Caoimhe Murphy and Loren Roche.
The 5th year Parent/Teacher meeting will be held from 4.15 to 6.45.

CATHOLIC and Protestant schools are to take the landmark step of displaying LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) posters in classrooms as part of an all-out drive to stamp out homophobic bullying.
